For the conclusion of our seventh season, here's one of GNILYF's Melange Mixtapes.
Whether it's ambient, jazz, techno, electronic, musique contrete, classic or virtuosic instrumental music, anything can end up in these multitrack mixtapes. The goal is a journey through many emotional states, creating new perspectives with every playthrough and ever changing mindsets.
Sometimes after sixty minutes, the same feeling can arise as if you were looking back on an entire year. Isn't it strange how experiencing moments and remembering them can not seldom lead to completely contrary feelings. Even knowing this fact does not change its outcome. Experience changes us in such a way that we do not look at past things with the same ego as we look at future things. Repeated experience also changes our view of things again. The constant changes of our self are unstoppable and thus, with the necessary awareness and open-mindedness, enable us to experience ever new adventures, even in the most trivial moments.
On to the ninth season of POOLcast.
